There are no explicit "first amendment" rights here. SI has the option of permitting Emile, or anyone else for that matter, to continue posting at its sole discretion. If you don't like the fact that SI permits Emile to post, then you have the option of ignoring Emile or terminating your membership with SI.

I think that starting a petition to remove Emile is basically sinking down to Emile's level. You are simply giving a small-minded bigot a lot of attention. If you really want SI to be free of this type of rhetoric, then I would suggest that you refrain from waving petitions and try economic leverage instead. Inform SI and GNET management that you are offended by Emile's comments and that you will contact GNET's advertisers and board of directors with copies of Emile's rantings.
