Par, It seem like tax loss selling is coming earlier every year. However a lot of the early selling has been with mutual funds. Unfortunately there are not a lot of MF's that own Ligand, and if they do they are a biotech and or health science fund that have no gains to offset. Therefore it is the little guy like you and I that would be doing the tax loss selling. J.D.
