INTC could have trouble in 1Q99 due to higher demand for less-profitable low-end INTEL was reiterated "outperform" by analyst Michael A. Gumport at Lehman Brothers Inc. Gumport said Intel should benefit during the next four months from increased demand for back-to-school and Christmas, but could have trouble in the first fiscal quarter next year because of higher demand for less-profitable low-end chips and increased competition.
