The limitations of the mice model are presented
in Science Vol. 278, Nov. 7,1997 : Systems for Identifying
New Drugs are Often Faulty.

When looking at the mice model, make sure the tumor
cell line is aggressive. They need to provide a strong test
for their drug. (I look for cell lines that are used in the
NCI's 60 cell line screen.)

So far a strong model has helped get MOGN to Phase II trials.
