Rocketeer1, this y2k thing...Digitcom will still have work through the local telcos to complete calls. If the local telcos are not compliant, there still will be an issue with international calls for Digitcom or anyone else using the local telcos.

My understanding is the embedded controllers in older systems use only two digits to save software code space. I believe calls will still be completed but the reliability of the overall system is reduced. For Digitcom, hopefully, the problem will be isolated to the local telcos which should be an improvement over existing systems.
