I'm not a lawyer (thank God), so I don't know how the law considers an attempted burglary compared to perjury. I think they are both felonies, but maybe somebody else can answer that question. Probably most people have never committed either of these crimes, so I guess that they have the right to judge. So far, I would agree that Nixon's crimes were probably worse, but remember until the Starr report comes out, we don't know all the facts about Clinton.
You must have voted for Clinton. Years ago,I voted for Nixon, and I can remember the clear sense of betrayal I felt when it became clear that he was lying. Don't you have some of the same feelings about Clinton? If someone lies to me , I never trust them in the future. It will be interesting to listen to his speech., but I will take it as a bit of history, and not believe a word he says. More than once bitten, twice shy. If Clinton had really cared about his family, he would have put them ahead of his personal pleasure.
