Well gang, I'll be danged if I can figure out why the Mighty Q took a little ding in its fender today and ain't even gonna try. Surfer Mike thought the DJ/NAZ would do a full header into the toilet bowl what with them Ruskies taking a little 3 month debt moratorium [any of you guys tried that with your house payments--my friendly lender has absolutely zero sense of humor] and lopping a quick 1/3 off their currency but, not to mention stock markets around the world getting slammed, but that's why my name isn't Soros.
Many thanks to whoever posted that handset sales market share breakdown--too lazy to go back and look, but methinks there's some very bueno news there. Now if Mr. Market was a rational animal on a day-to-day basis, we should have been up a couple of bucks. But noooo, so we wait until that fundamental info batters its way into the tiny crania that constitues the Mass Market and one day soon we'll be up 10. Go figure.
One tiny t*rd in the punchbowl: Ericy has got to be getting the news big time and the aforementioned market IS starting to figure that out. I continue to believe that $30 billion dollar companies are dangerous pups when pushed into a corner. One thing's for sure: Ericy ain't going quietly into the night--stay tuned. Mike Doyle
