We can say what we want, but Cisco continues to dominate. They will be like Intel, without a doubt. They are going after the brand name, and if properly done, can really make for a stranglehold on the industry.

The one question I have is just how effective can this campaign be? Consumers, (and I consider myself a consumer) despite being very internet savvy (companies normally use this term rather dirisively as in, "He's just a consumer") do not buy networking products. I have no need for networking products, and even if I did, do not know enough technologically to make a decision.

So the question is who is Cisco trying to appeal to with thei commercials?

Any thoughts on this?

Richard
