George, I think you are being too linear in your thinking about love, hate, fear and indifference. Indifference is not exactly the opposite of love. Love and hate are not opposites, either, because the potential for both is contained within any strongly felt relationship. I really have nothing to say about fear, and do not believe it belongs logically in this discussion. It is indifference and PASSION which are opposites, in my opinion.
