George, Perhaps, it is time to start licking one's chops again, smell the fresh air and prepare for 5 years of making money for the good guys ( speaking for myself ) us beat up gold family souls. The gold open interest has crept way up again. 196, 000. Specs are mega short. While the gold premiums in the Far East are sloppy ( the Chinese cut their gold price ) the Russian debacle failed to bury gold when it was most vulnerable. The Polish CB buy announcement was important. We thought CB's were in their buying and our info was correct. Also have information that an Asian CB is still buying ( they will not report ). This buying is taking on the spec selling. If we are also correct that the CB selling is about to end ( my taking forever, last tranche of pre EMU related selling ), we have a set up for a very big rally. I do not think it is very far away and am going to start adding to my junior (now petite ) gold share positions as of today. The silver premiums in India are strong. They are buying. While the technical make up of silver is not as constructive as gold, the fundamentals are there to support a very big move ( my opinion anyway), The Comex silver stocks ( 77 milllion oz. ) are at scary levels. Relative to world money, it would not take that much to scoop up the balance. The past year and one half has been abysmal for gold bulls. Yet, I have never seen anything like the past two days in terms of total despair and feelings of futility. We may finally be near the end of this thing. Predicting a snapshot time is near impossible. I am not trying to. But, for me, it is time to step up to the plate again. Bill
