Where in the world did you get such a fool idea that somebody is against what you are doing with respect to the earning estimates? I don't know about others but for what it is worth you have my support and I am quite appreciative of what you are doing and I am sure the majority are. I believe it is of immense value to me in two fronts,one-it is a lot of fun and two- it gives me an idea what other investors are thinking,granted some estimates are worth more than the others.

As for whisper numbers I think it is a lot of 'garbage' (it is sort of like changing the rules in the middle of a game) and any influence it has on the stock is short lived at best and has no bearing on the long term performance of the stock.Regarding the importance of the estimates on SI, I recall from last quarter that some of 'popular press' mentioned the estimates that we come up with here on SI that of course doesn't mean the 'whisper gurus' are going by SI numbers,it however means that we are being watched but any influence SI has is probably superficial and not of any serious consequence.
