Scrapps, I see you've been reading the nifty USRX advertisements in the Computer Mags (bypassing analog-to-digital conversion, encoding vs. modulation,blistering 230.4K etc).
I like the way the ads explain everything in easy to understand fashion, BUT MAN they gotta spiff up the graphics a bit, don't you think? I'd like to see ONE MORE color to contrast the RED/Black/White scheme.
I got the 1st of FEB. date from a reliable source, BUT I think that conversation might have been more than a month ago, now that I think about it.
I hope the JAN. date is right. I'm really excited about the prospects of SPEEEED!!!!
I have a 28.8 and ALWAYS am able to hook up at 28.8, so I think I should have no problem getting 56 (who knows, maybe I'll get lucky enough to hook-up at 62.6 ?).
Did you like the neat little speed comparisons between the 14.4, 28.8 and a 56 screen? COOL huh?
AHHH, I just found the ad. Sure enough does say JANUARY 1997.
I HOPE it's closer to Jan. 1 than Jan. 31, I notice they say IN Jan. 97- Wink-Wink.
I CAN'T wait! I'm gonna "think" Jan 31 and "hope" Jan 1 so I won't get TOO dissappointed IF I have to wait a couple extra weeks.
