My only thought is that although such announcements could be happening any day, they probably will only happen on schedules more controlled by the OEM's themselves than by WAVE.
Where both Steven and Peter Sprague have chosen to take the professional, conservative approach, eliminating over-hype, etc., and have been so generous in making their thoughts known to this thread, and where so many of us are very enthusiastic (and rightfully so) over the product, I think it is important to be very realistic about time frames and not put undue pressure or make disparaging comments if things aren't moving fast enough for us.
I specifically mention the upcoming Christmas season since, prior comments on this thread (not by company personnel) were probably overly optimistic about consumer exposure this fall and into the holiday sales season, and, on that level, such would appear to be premature in timing.
IMHO that the company's management is very aware of exactly what they are doing and know quite well how to prepare, cover and penetrate the market. IMHO that in the long run, missing one Christmas season of consumer sales won't make a big difference (other than the positive difference of doing things the right way).
It's sooooo hard to be patient, however.
