Bob I have zero doubt about the sincerity of your beliefs, and defend your right to have those beliefs.
Howqever, if you take the bible literally, you cant ignore the verses or thoughts on any of them, and quoting other verses doesnt change that.
Do you really believe that God left your intrepretation of the Bible open to the punctuation of writers many years after the fact? I am not asking you this in order to try to change your beliefs. I ask because I want to learn your mind set, question both of our beliefs systems(so that we may both have the opportunity and occcasion to grow or learn) The reason I keep stressing my intentions is because when people ente into conversatioons like this, it is very easy to have the conversation turn inot a personal arguement, given the very personal nature of the subject being discussed. I just want to stress my intentions as a method of making sure you understand that regardless of our different personal philosophies, my intention is totally bengin, as I believe yours is also.
