I was unaware that there was some debate raging about the search engine product line. I thought that the search engine was the engine for Livelink, period.

They threw that lame Pinstripe site on the internet to throw a bone to people who wanted to see some kind of publicly available use of the search engine...but I thought the idea of a public search engine had been left for dead, correct me if I'm wrong.

"Inktomi valuations"...hmm...intriguing concept, thinking about it probably teaches us something about Inktomi we should have known...it's way overvalued!
