More great news to come next week on 3D seismic data!!
As a long term shareholder of Newstar, I closely follow this company. Based on what I knew from the last annual meeting in June 1998, and what I heard from others, I was not pleased with the level of details from the press release given yesterday. To simply say that previous reserve estimates were conservative and that there are additional structures is too brief.

We know that the Rodessa has over 81 bcf of gas, with potential for about 40 bcf more based on the 2D and previous estimates. Also, the Cotton Valley has the potential for over 600 bcf of gas. We need this type of quantitative data.

I talked today to the IR person who has never misled me with regards to Newstar. I was pleased with what was said. Is the next release (plus more to come) going to be small, medium or big based on the information content and potential for company growth?. Answer - BIG!!!!!
When will we start seeing such news? - Early next week!!!

There will be several releases since the Madisonville property is so rich and consists of several structures, each being very significant (I am now using Newstar terminology).
