To Everyone:
I checked my records and did not find an instance of Micron
pre-announcing or giving any meaningful info from which
revenue or profit figures could be derived. Even in the
teleconference last quarter, they refused to give analysts any
indication of numbers. They had repeatedly stressed that they
do not give info on .... (fill in blanks, I have had several
encounters on various topics, i.e. yield, costs, bit-volume).

In light of that, Kipp Bedard's announcements last week were
extremely unusual. They were not factual either. HOw does he
know it will surprise ? Did he conduct a random sample.
How does he measure strength of balance sheet ?
Foot-Pounds per square feet ?

I distinctly remember this (because it irked me at that time)
that Steve Appleton, effectively called the top when Micron passed
$38 for a single day. How could he call the the top when the rest
of us had no idea that he was privy to all the internal details
about pricing ?

Is there any correlation between the current statements by Kipp
and the intention of several top management staff of Micron to
sell their shares ?

Where is spliff when you need him ?

Too many questions for one post ! Answers anybody ?
