Here's some non-info from the State of Florida relevant to the Hunt for the Tunavision:

Subject: Boats or should I say vessels?
Date: Tue, 18 Aug 1998 9:29 -0500
From: "Mona Porter" <Porterm@hsmv.state.fl.us>
To: "janice@planet.it" <janice@planet.it>

Dear Ms. Shell:

I have researched the Coast Guard website, the only file which maintains records by boat name that I am aware of at this time. I did
not get any hits on the name Tunavision. The state records of Florida
do not list except by, owner name, hull number, FL number, Title number and decal number.

I am sorry I was not able to help.

And (I suggested it might be registered in the Islands):

Could be. It could also be registered with us, however, without more
to go on, I can't check.

Sorry.

Mona

The Florida State website is truly extraordinary. A pity every state's isn't as good.

Now: does anyone have an email address for Marc Tow? There are some questions I'd like to ask him. Probably won't answer, but it doesn't hurt to try.
