Wine Investment News stands by its statements. They are accurate, complete and in context.

Those wishing to confirm the issue of the licenses may call the New York State Division of Alcohol Beverage Control at 518-474-3114 and they will confirm that they have no record of Araldica having a license until its purchase of All Brands in 1998.

Unless the ABC's records are _in_correct, this means that Araldica could not have legally sold wine before that time -- including 1997 when the company stated that it was engaged in the sale of wine.

If Araldica has information that proves the ABC's record are incorrect -- information such as the number of their liquor license for the sales of wine in 1997 and previously -- I will be happy to report that.

We also stand by the information we were able to gather concerning the current state of the company's licensing. If there is information that can be confirmed by third parties without a stake in this matter, I'll be happy to print those as well.

There are no "lies" and there is no "innuendo." The facts speak for themselves.

Everything in this article has been confirmed mostly through official government records simply because Araldica and Mr. Landi offered no information at all. In those few instances where we were not relying upon official government records -- such as the current operation of All Brands -- we confirmed information using multiple sources with first-hand knowledge AND with no interest either in the outcome of litigation or in the value of the stock.

As to the SEC "losing" their civil litigation, there is certainly nothing in the court records that the SEC sent to me to indicate anything but a decisive win by the government. If the SEC sent me the wrong information and Mr. Landi can help me find the correct papers, then I would be happy to print that as well. The information I have is contained in SEC Litigation Releases #9916 (1983 SEC LEXIS 2296), #9046 (1980 SEC LEXIS 1794) and #8912 (1979 SEC LEXIS 410). If there are additional documents I should have reviewed, then I would appreciate knowing this.

I will be happy to report anything that Araldica has which can be confirmed as true. I did ask for comment on multiple occasiona and would have been very happy to put Mr. Landi's comments and those of the company in the article. The door is open, has been open and will continue to be open to _any_ Araldica information that can be confirmed.
