Richard: I recently took a small position in this company via a recommendation from a friend. My friend is highly successful with his picks, but his explanation suggests that AFFX has the market cornered. I'm not reading it that way in the posts.
Can you or anyone else on the thread give me a 3 or 4 sentence education as to why AFFX may have an edge over the competition with their particular patents and market timing?
