I'm confused, when mm "covers at the bid" it means they are buying back shares at the bid. Now we have a new mm buying at the "ask"? Why won't they buy at the bid instead?... Is it because they have no shorts (being a new mm) to cover and the other mms knowing this will only let them buy at the ask? And if they ARE buying...they must think the price is headed higher. No? Interesting game.
