Just spoke with Roger Templeton at DGIV. I asked him about the new network we are setting up in Indonesia, and he says that we will see these revenues in the 4th quarter. Jimmy is headed to Indonesia this week. I think DGIV is waiting for the stock price to hit 4 before releasing the 10-SB. Roger seemed very confident that this COULD occur within a fairly short time frame. He says that they stand by their projections for $75-100 mil. in revenues for '99. I got the impression that a lot of things are coming to a head. They are in the process of setting prices for Indo. network. Presently there is no other IP telephony network to compete against. They will have a substantial price advantage over the present long distance network. I would think this network could ramp up fairly quickly. He gave the impression that I shouldn't get too focused on the Pacific rim POPs so much. Their plans would reach much wider than that very soon. I asked about having more than one U.S. "connection" to these foreign networks, as presently they have only 1 located in L.A. Roger said that they had plans for 5 "connections" in the future. I asked how the poor Asian economies affected their expansion plans and he replied that there are "fire sales" going on over there, and that these foreign contacts are very eager to sign up with a state of the art telecommunications outfit that can save them money. He knew nothing about the mention of DGIV on CNBC by the NMSS CEO. I have never heard the context of this "mention" either. Can anyone verify if this indeed happened, or just a rumor. At any rate, a very upbeat phone conversation. I get the feeling that more news will be out in the next week or so. Gotta run, Mark
