Mohan, Shorting Stocks 101 1. Never short DELL going into an earnings announcement. 2. Never short DELL going into a potential split announcement. 3. Never short DELL and be safe. The stock can be down for the day (109 9/16) and go up 7 points in after hours, gapping up the next morning, so that one has no chance to place or effect a stop loss order. Run, Michael, Run!!!!
