Hey Len, Here's a link to a post to the original "Moron." Of course he has not responded. These types never do when confronted with the facts and the absurdity of their condition. That was scenario 1.

Alternatively, I would rather engage in scenario 2 with you. Scenario 2 is that you actually have some information to share that is responsive to the questions asked. Let's hear it.

Maybe we have different standards for civil discourse.
I could not help but notice that immediately prior to calling me
"Paranoid" in this thread you called another SI member a
"Schmuck." I guess you don't find that to be either harassing,
abusive, improper, vulgar, obscene, or objectionable. I do.

Therefore, I won't waste time explaining to you the more
sophisticated rhetorical devices used by Mr. Dryer and why I find
them inconsistent with the Terms of Use. If you read the comments
of others on the Datek thread you would know that I was not the
only one that thought the comments were queer. For example, one
member wrote, "Just wondering why Mr Dryer comes out of the
woodwork in favor of Datek. Wondering if Datek put him up to it
to stop the flow of negative postings. I believe Mr Dryer is a
principal in SI. Found it bizarre.

You asked, " Why aren't you taking all this up with Datek and/or
the NASD?
Why do you assume that I have not? If you read the posts that you
claim to have read you would know that I have taken it up with
Datek. I posted a letter I sent to Datek on the Datek thread. Here is
the link. It contains Email to Datek responding to Mr. Stern's
prior email telling me to screw off.

You ask, "Are you on some kind of mission?" Yes. I thought it was
stated quite clearly on the Datek Market Maker thread. Quite
simply, " . . . to understand the nature of the business relationship
we're entering into with Datek & its affiliated companies so that
we can better predict and control our trades." For example, it is
helpful to me to know if my broker is not merely acting as an agent
but actually trading against me. Ref:

You said, He simply brought to your attention a number of good
points that in my opinion were actually quite valid. Could you
specifically identify the "good points" that you say were "actually
valid," in Mr Dryer's Posts? I could not identify a single statement
that was responsive to the questions being asked. Rather, they
appeared to be merely a rhetorical attack.

You say, We went through all these "issues" a year and a
thousand posts ago. There are over 9000 Datek posts, I've read a
few thousand of them. Perhaps you could help me out by doing two
things. First tell me what "issues" you are talking about and
secondly provide me with a link to the answers. However, you go
on to say that, "It's fruitless." This seems contradictory and
confusing to me.

In response to Mr Dryer, you say, "Now you've started a thread on
this issue." What on earth are you talking about? The Datek Market
Maker thread has nothing to do with Mr. Dryer. It has to do with
the dynamics of doing business and placing orders with Datek.

Perhaps you already know all the answers. That's good for you. On
the other hand maybe you don't even have a clue as to what the
right questions are. With your help and other members of this
community, maybe we will get some answers.

Please be constructive in your response and provide some useful
information if you have it. Thank you.
