<<You can be ASSURED that graphics designers will NOT move to PCs.>>

But graphics designers do not often get to make decisions on what machines to use. Especially in large corporate environments.

There, the pointy-haired managers and bean counters make the decisions and they LOVE PCs!

I know, I've spearheaded many Mac to PC migrations (call me a collaborator, or war criminal if you will, but I truly support the Mac. I used my influence as best I could to rescue as many Macs as possible. Even disguising some Macs as PCs).

The user community wanted to keep their Macs. Management said no. The diehard Mac users held on best they could. Ultimately, they fell.

Management enticed them, with new 200 mhz Pentiums to replace their aging Quadra 800s and IIsi. The less techno users even came to believe that PCs were faster and easier to use, not realizing things like 66mhz Quadra vs. 233mhz Pentium.

Others kept silent, fearing for their jobs as Macs were rounded up in the night, never to be seen again.
