I thought that there was a law in the US to prevent the kind of relationship between Clinton and Lewinsky. I seem to recall that a University professor having a sexual relationship with their student, teacher-student, boss-employee, etc... is a crime. I believe in Canada that is the law, but can't remember if it is law in the States. It has something to do with an abuse of a position of authority. The professor/boss/teacher is in a position of power and subsequently can exert influence on their underling. It becomes irrelevant whether or not they were both consenting as it is the inappropriate sexual relationship that can be punishable.
