In reviewing posts re permits and Chairman's message, it appears there are two permits being discussed: Pima County air quality permit for the pilot plant and Maricopa County permit (also air quality per Runyon's statement) for the P7 mine. Post #5206 by Charles Bankes raised the issue that Maxam had not picked up the permit for P7. Che said he would e-mail Maxam (#5213) then Chuca chimed in with his report of a conversation with Hubbard. Now I find it hard to believe that Chuca would confusa his contexts, but his report came in context of the Maricopa permit concern raised by Charles and more recently by thall (#5341). I think I am getting confused again. Help Chuca! Confusa me some more!
The point is this...Dale has had his dancing shoes on for months now. He painted Maxam into a corner financially by buying all that equipment without field testing the recovery process on a smaller scale to see if the big equipment was a sound investment. Thus, "ready, fire, aim." Bottom line: there is a lot of bob-and-weave going on the past several months that IMO damages Dale's image as the Last Boy Scout. Moreover, there is obvious mismanagement of precious resources such that the company is now quite desperate for cash. They still don't know what they are doing, and they have now hired consultants. Uh oh. In medicine, you call in the consultants when the patient is dying...not to save the patient, but to share the blame! This company has the most fluid business plan I have ever seen. Right now, it feels like water running through my fingers...or are those hundred dollar bills?! Help me out on this permit stuff if I still have it Chucaconfused. At least there are no decimals to contend with (g). If I confused the permit issue, I apologize, but I stand by my assessment of the company and its management. Just my opinion as a long-suffering shareholder who is disgusted by the news and Dale's spin on it.
