They're talking about pegging some of these troubled countries to the US Dollar. I don't see where this is a demonstration of knowledge by one president over another. The economy is basically out of the hands of administrations. They can only screw it up in my opinion. In fact, both parties were against the corporate restructuring of the early 90's which was necessary to restore the health of many companies.
