I saw a presentation by IMAT this spring at the Phoenix NASDAQ show. I was astounded by what could be done with the company's Fast CT scanner. Then later I looked at the company's price history and "earnings."

While the company has an interesting product (and I'll probably have myself heart-mapped eventually) it looks like it's in the old death spiral. I haven't bothered to look into the numbers but I'd bet it's starting to get close to the NASDAQ delisting point. There's probably a better chance of a reverse split than a price increase at this point. You'd be far, far better off waiting for the stock to prove me wrong even if you end up paying a little more for it.

It's really sad but a great product doesn't necessarily mean financial success. There are a lot of companies that have great stories who's stocks have never went anywhere.
