Hi Al. Now that the SEMI group has turned up the SOFT group is looking
good, I checked out the breakdown of the top ten holdings in three
no transaction fee/low transaction fee technology mutual funds:

Robertson Stephens Information Age A RSIFX

INTC,PSFT,LGTO,MSFT,AMAT,VTSS,NETA,NVLS,APOL,ASMLF

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

T. Rowe Price Science & Technology PRSCX

PMTC,CSCO,NETA,QCOM,MSFT,SE,ASND,FDC,SNPS,ADI

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

PBHG Technology & Communications PBTCX

CTXS,SAVLY,ECSGY,AFCI,TCNOF,CDT,KEA,CATP,REMC,CGX

The funds break down as follow:

fund SEMI SOFT COMP TELE other

RSFIX 5 4 0 0 1
PRSCX 1 5 3 1 0
PBTCX 0 5 1 2 2

I am using RSFIX for a SEMI proxy. I'll use PBTCX for a
SOFT proxy when the sector turns up and will add PRSCX
if the COMP sector follows. The P&F charts for all three looks good.

Take care,
