Right. Russia chose the right way. It is better to start now rather
than wait, get more indebted, get the key commodity sectors in
more trouble, and finally get uncontrolled devaluation.
The IMF policies and help bailed out Western bankers, did not help
Russia. Officially
the central bank allowed the ruble to float freely widening
the corridor 6.4-9.5 ruble/dollar. I'm not saying there won't be
more trouble. A lot of risk nowadays. A lot of potential reward as well.
