By the way dave I have read that ETSI has gone on record as recognizing Qcom's WCDMA portfolio. I also spoke with a bell labs engineer who worked for Lucent. He told me that Qcom's patents are for the core technology, and though some patents are disputable Qcom will prevail in baisic dispute(in his yech opinion)
