Well, I don't like to get in the middle.

I'm certain that as long as the conversation is contained and controlled no one would have a problem with it.

Maybe I'm wrong, I cannot be certain.

But by contained and controlled I mean that as long as people stick to the facts and don't throw mud I personally see no issue.

One thing you should know....many stocks passed around here are looked at for speculative reasons and short-term gains. If DGIV is a long term hold your position will have less of a reception, to my way of thinking.

Whether Jeff is correct or not with respect to DGIV is none of my affair. I have not seen either side. I also am not one to judge nor am I one to say you have or don't have a right to air your view, opinion, or fact as I am sure you and all else would agree.

I do think that as long as the topic sticks to the point it would be accepted at face value.

I do not wish to imply you or Jeff have an hidden agenda. I have to tell you I know Jeff somewhat better than most that I know on SI and respect his opinion. So I am not taking sides no matter what the outcome.

Do what you wish. If you think the argument has merit for a long position in DGIV I suggest you post. If someone finds fault, well, let the games begin.

Personally, I have to tell you, I'm a tough sell. I research stocks for months before I buy them and when I do I keep them for years...decades.....it's rare I buy a stock and hang on for a short time. This only occurs when I have a total loser. So I may not fit your profile.

In the case of DGIV I would wish to know who is on the box. I have a hard time with OTC stocks which are low priced because of the threat of manipulation by market makers on an issue with a thin float. Also, wide spreads on such issues put me off. I started out trading in NYC off a Level II several years ago and I've been there, done that.

To give you an idea, I have purchased three new stocks (ones I had no prior position in) in the past year. One was a broker's reco and I said go ahead because I was preoccupied with a real trade. Today that stock is off 10 points and that account has been moved. You and your acquaintances on the DGIV thread appear to have a philosophy diametrically opposed to what I would consider sound trading. Or investing, for that matter. One just does not average down on a loser and survive. You yourself indicated you have a large piece of your investing capital in this issue. That is financial suicide, to my way of thinking. You may disagree, but I make my living doing this. Believe me, it is not smart to load the boat when it's sinking.

So it's not likely I'll buy DGIV. I hope this does not offend you, it's not my intent.
