I don't really understand what's under the hood. However, these
applications seem difficult to sell and to require a decision by
higher level management. Once sold, it is much easier to expand the
use and increase the penetration of the application. Further, the
more visible the products, the easier it is to get in the door of a new customer. Given that, the operating leverage available should
translate in large part to increased profit. If Unify is having
trouble retaining sales people that would seem surprising, since
the sales task should only be getting easier. At least in the short
term the prospects look good.
