There have been two message updates on the "JTS Investor Relations Message System" since July 01, 1998: On August 03, 1998 and August 17, 1998. Unfortunately, nothing new there... it just reiterates prior messages. There is one point that has me scratching my head though... We still haven't gotten the auditors to sign their name to it! Why? Have they found irregularities?? I don't know... just can't imagine paying any auditors for taking basically forever to finish... Maybe that's it.... we haven't paid them! <g> Back in April we announced our first ever profit (albeit, < $ 100k.); we get $ 10 million additional financing from Bank of India; $ 5 million from the pawn of Atari soul... and what @ the additional funds (@ $ 75 million) that were possible with the conversion of the Series D? Naturally, we default on the bonds. <g> Way back when they put the 3" drives on "Hold", they went through great pains to point out that the 3" wasn't dead. Perhaps, it isn't... Yes, the DD market tanked. The failure to release the 6.4 gig drives... also they were to release MR drives by now... is the Madras plant still open? Surely they can't be held to the same "Quiet period" Rules & Regulations anymore. Something has got to be up. If they were to go belly up, why drag it out? The only thing I want to know is if current shareholders will see anything in the re-emerged JTS. --Dennis
