Maybe SNPS rides to the rescue I don't see QKTN getting into bed with MENT, they've been such bitter rivals. I guess MENT management sees this as a opportunity to try get on the cheap what it couldn't steal. Patents & US market share .... I wouldn't mind hearing a little more on this thread about QKTN's takeover defenses. SNPS already has a stake in QKTN, so I see them as a logical candidate, if the board wants to go that way, but it's UNLIKELY. The offer will probably be rebuffed & the stock will head back down in that event.
