Darn shame to see FSCX in this shape. I have been very involved with their frame relay routers for the last 3 years. In '96 I did product comparative research to select a marketing model for rollout in a medical billing and patient information scenario. Fastcomm had the ONLY product that offered the spec for a successful rollout. And it was very successful. I compared many of the routers that were in the 1k dollar range. the 8211i, which later became the WEB.router, was the easiest to program and setup onsite, and support remotely. Although the appearance of the unit was a bit cheesey, it performed great, and I feel the engineering behind it had a lot more practical "real-world" thought than the competition. Things are not looking good for the company now. I just wanted to put in a word from the field, for what it's worth. I no longer work for the company that I did this work for (except for occasional consulting). And I do not own any FSCX stock. If this company goes down the tubesI'll be sorry to see it happen.
