and his inestimably valuable investment advice as dispensed via his
MoneyTalk radio show, Marketimer newsletter, and web site. I am
quite flattered that you bring this news forward here, and there is
little doubt that these new discussion threads will be well trafficked,
especially, if you and your illustrious dad intend to post there.
In December of 1996, this topic seemed a lonely outpost with the
silence broken by the occasional visitor only infrequently. It is,
indeed, gratifying to look back after some 20 months and 7000
posts from countless writers, if only to survey the good work that
has been done here and, happily, is also being continued at a
second SI Brinker thread, a scion of this parent topic.
Your father is a most extra-ordinary and singularly brilliant man.
By any accounting, he has contributed mightily and vastly to the
good of his fellow man and has left an indelible mark upon the world.
You must be quite proud. I, myself, am thrilled to have played the
smallest role in shedding some light in cyberspace upon your dad's
good work and offering a place where present and future Brinker
adherents may congregate, learn, and offer cross-pollinating ideas
and opinions.
