Of course not, but how much have these problems already been discounted? These markets and currencies have corrected up to 80% off their peak!

Individual nations like Thailand and Korea have already started to put their houses in order.

Morgan Stanley has announced a buyback of their emerging markets and India closed end funds. Also, new Asian and emerging markets funds by prominent international players have been announced.

Many large corporations, GE and AAPL for instance, have made predictions for increased revenue growth in Asia over the next three years.

My time table for Asia and illiquid international markets is end of '99.
