Jeff, DGIV might just be right up your ally. I wrote this up last night.

Here is my understanding of Digitcom [DGIV on OTC:BB
exchange] and their Business plan:

SHARES AUTHORIZED=100 MIL (of which 50 mil were authorized in July)
SHARES OUTSTANDING=19.1 MIL (as of 8/10/98)
PUBLIC FLOAT=7 MIL

1.) DGIV's product/service
DGIV's core technology is Internet Telephony. This technology allows one to package
data (fax transmissions, global voice messaging, live video-conferences, etc.)and send it
globally in digital format through gateways (much like digital cellular phone networks).

In order to have access to DGIV's network, you must be able to connect to a Natural
Microsystem's [NMSS on Nasdaq exchange] NT Fusion 2.0(tm) Platform, which are
currently being installed in many places throughout the world by DGIV technicians.
NMSS Fusion was named 1997 Product of the Year for IP telephony gateways by
Computer Telephony magazine. Upon network installation, access to such a server can
be set up to cost consumers significantly less than the current rate per minute, and still be
economically viable for the company because of how cheap the actual minute costs
using the technology. Major telcos are becoming very interested in this cost saving

2.) Recent DGIV news
Digitcom is expecting rapid growth. I suggest that if you have the time, at least familiarize
yourself with the two most recent public releases before reading on. Here's a news link:
go2net.newsalert.com.
Here's a link to the company's newsletter (sent via e-mail on 8/8/98), a must read as
well: Message 5447521

3.) Action in DGIV share price since February
bigcharts.com.
While DGIV began releasing its strategic plan, the share price experienced a 3000%
increase between the months of February and May. Profit taking/manipulation soon
followed and continued to until June 24th, when the share price reached approximately
2.60. Notice on the chart that this has been DGIV's (solid) base for exactly eight weeks
today. This base represents a 700% increase year-to-date and its strength is extremely
abnormal for an OTC:BB stock.

At the beginning of August, various parties were short approximately 800,000 shares.
MM's have been covering since then. In particular, you may find yesterday's chart very
interesting: bigcharts.com. A new
MM (ALEX?) jumped in at about 45 minutes before the close and let about 80,000
shares (just less than twice the entire day's volume) be traded without even moving the
bid/ask once. One of them was a 45,000 share block, the largest I've seen since the
downfall in June. In a nutshell, lots of recent covering going on... some at the ask, some
between the b/a, and some at the bid. IMO, all indications are that something big is
coming down the pike.

4.) The importance of being long on DGIV:
Ultimately, everyone needs to decide for themselves how they're going to trade any
given stock. I don't know if anyone has the attention span long enough to listen to all the
reasons why I am long on DGIV. For this reason, I will attempt to state a few of them
briefly, and in no particular order:
-Digitcom management is phenomenal... when there is opportunity/conflict, this
company takes action. CEO Jimmy Chin is especially proactive.
-The Internet Telephony market is growing exponentially. In 1997, worldwide IP traffic
averaged 6.3 minutes a month. By 2002, it is expected to reach 8.8 billion minutes a
month.
-An sb-10 filing is nearing completion... after displaying audited financials and becoming
a reporting company, DGIV will be approved for a nasdaq listing.
-Jimmy Chin has been striking win-win deals with more than a few foreign governments.
Such as: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, Philippines, Germany, and others.

There you have it:
DGIV... not your ordinary pennystock. (IMO of course)

Objective comments welcome...

Subject 20535 General DGIV discussion
usually takes place here. However, you do need to sift through the chit-chat. Many of
the "dgiv-a-holics" have formed good friendships, and often post about their daily lives,
etc. (This thread is not only a place to share research and ask questions concerning
DGIV, but also a place to socialize)
