To anyone who works at Ross.

Several questions.

Will your new 64 bit processor include hardwired emulation of x86 instructions?
If so what would their performance be compared to an intel chip.
Pentium class? And what speed pentium class?

Also when will this chip be available?

Also do any of the existing 64 bit Sparc processors have hardwired x86 emulaiton?

Also will current Ross hyperSparc systems allow for the plugin of the new 64 bit processor or will people have to buy a whole new system?

Also is it true that several other divisions within Fujitsu have already developed 64 bit Sparc chips?
And if so where does Ross and it's 64 bit processor fit in Fujitsu's over all scheme?
