tonto: The reference to stealth was to me, not Riley.

BTW it can be argued that a B-52 bomb run is actually a stealth one.
(For ground troops)

The B-52 flies at say 60,000 feet.
They drop their bombs.
No one on the ground knows it's coming, until the world ends for them.

Pysops in Vietnam we had the use of a bomber (sometimes) that would drop leaflets at the end of one of these bomb raids, and they said something to the effect of..."Now you have witnessed a B-52 raid..blah blah blah"

I never could figure out what was the point, because in theory there was nothing left except body parts.

Well, I guess this supplied the VC that came later with a good supply of toilet paper, so who knows..maybe a purpose was served, after all.
