To All, Despite the huge bounce in tech stocks for no reason, the clang of eps hitting the ground hard keeps sounding. Hewlett-Packard showed no growth for this quarter. The stock went up because it "beat" eps estimates that had been ratcheted lower all quarter.

LSI's eps stank the house out, down 15% year to year. This from a company that is non-cyclical and a sure thing. <VBG>

Dell did great, at least according to the nominal numbers. I haven't had a chance to figure out what tricks they used to get there. Don't get me wrong. Dell is performing well, better than nearly any other co. But not as well as their tarted up #s would have you believe. I am still not buying puts, as the leverage of selling debt to buy back stock has not yet caught up with Mikey.

Good Luck,

MB
