The market price will be determined by the demand and supply, this is true for both chips and stocks, this is common sense. The recent memory chip stock advance, are mostly based on the hope that chip price is bottomed and stabilized, and the hope that it will start advance soon. I still believe the long term outlook is quite rosy, but I don't think memery chip stocks are good for momentum play. Now, the reality is: he Memory chip prices are beginning another steady decline, after a brief period of stabilization, see the news: news.com Not a good news at all, if this price decline last long enough, it will demage already very low profit margin and cause lower semiconductor industry book-to-bill ratio. And it will send those already over priced memery chip stocks down. We may see analysts come out and downgrade some stocks as soon as they finish dumping their shares. Xy
