Lucius, Remember that DEC is more than just an 'Alpha' company. They have an Intel PC business (although that's not doing so well right now), a huge UNIX-oriented business, one of the largest consulting/service organizations in the country, etc. DEC could be wildly successful even if (because?!) the Alpha division goes belly up...
