Morgan Stanley increases India weightage.

Excerpts

Among the major new entrants are 4 tech stocks - Infosys, Wipro,
Satyam Computers, NIIT- pharma stocks like Dr Reddy's and Cipla
and banks stocks like Bank of Baroda and Bank of India.

Other stocks, which have been included in the index are Hero
Honda, Punjab Tractors, Bata India, Reliance Petroleum, BHEL.
Analysts say that the new composition reflects the changes in the
market capitalisation trends of the Indian stock market.

The stocks dropped from the index are largely commodity based
stocks like Mukand, Jindal Iron and Steel, Mico,. Jaiprakash
Industries.
