This opens up enormous opportunities. For example, VDSL could be used where there's no fibre. ONU to curb via LMDS, and VDSL to house. The same with ADSL, but with the increased speeds of VDSL, it could overtake the slower technology quite rapidly once it's available. Imagine 52 Mbps completely rate-adaptive, completely synchronous or asynchronous as you choose.

I know BT and DT are impressed with what they've seen so far, and I'm pleased NN's in the thick of it.
