1. Pick 5 stocks, (not 1,2,3 or 4) currently trading on the NYSE, ASE, NASDAQ, or
OTC BB. TSE and VSE OK for all the hosers, but you have to figure the entry and exit
in U.S. funds as of entry and exit dates, so no arbitrage hi-jinx.

Stocks only, no options, etc. Everyone starts with $100,000 U.S., all calculations are
U.S. dollars. The money is split up equally, 20 grand per stock

The above is taken from the thread header. It clearly indicates that contestants are to pick 5 stocks (not 1, 2, 3, or 4) ... and ... stocks only. If one does other than this, then one is in violation of the rules. I don't believe that errors of oversight, made my those tracking results, are relevant to whether or not the picks were legal under the terms of the rules.

He has disqualified himself (IMO) by breaking the rules. He either knew or ought to have known that he was breaking the rules. The onus was entirely on him.

He ought to be given a free t-shirt for being the best stock picker here!
