Hi, I came across a ComputerWorld article last week that said the following: "Although users have been expecting NT 5.0 for more than a year, no official release date has been set. It is generally expected anywhere from mid-1999 to sometime in 2000. Microsoft plans an intermediate NT release the year after NT 5.0 is shipped, and the 64-bit version is slated to ship the year after that, Muth said." My understanding was that Microsoft would have a 64-bit version on NT ready when Merced ships (mid-2000) and even sooner on Alpha. Has anyone heard anything else about the timing? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
