Gene,

You left out things such as "Full Employment +", "An expanding Economy", "Above Trend Productivity growth (although after nearly 2 decades of below trend productivity growth)", ...

Any one that wants to be the only person to believe and bet other people's money on this market being a bubble is free to do so. But he certainly won't have any of my money included in his bets. Unlike Bill Gates, I would notice if I lost a billion dollars or so. ;-)

Best wishes,
Ian.

"...a 30-40% correction would give a pe of 12-15 for the overall market. This is with bonds at record low yields, the budget "balanced," and the large cap stocks dominating their respective businesses throughout the world.

P.S. re "dominating their respective businesses": The Wall Street Journal did a story about a couple weeks ago re Capital Equipment for the construction industry being so tight that if you wanted a new Cat, you had to steal it. About a year ago, the gurus were claiming that Komatsu would price Cat right out of the market. So much for gurus.
